Day 7 Miracle update

She continues to gain weight and is now 6.6oz. So she has gained a little over 50% of her body weight. She wants to be bottle fed now. I keep catching her sucking on her paw, so have put a couple small toys in with her in the incubator. I've been able to give her one good feeding with some of mommas frozen breastmilk, letting her nurse a bit, but the majority of her food is puppy milk replacer. She is one strong little girl!

Miracle's incubator came today and i gave her a little snuggle buddy. She is still doing great. Nursed on momma a bit longer today and I caught her sucking on her paw. So she for sure needs some suckling action. She must be starting to feel good 🥰

Tiny puppy update! This little "Miracle" is doing great. Certainly not out of the woods yet, but I am cautiously optimistic. She started out at 4.2oz and couldn't even nurse on momma. She can now nurse, but her brothers and sisters are making it hard for her! So she is being supplemented with tube feeds every 2 hours still. Still have her separated on a heating pad but will be getting an incubator tomorrow to make that a bit easier. Today she weighs 5.5oz!!! She has gained 25% of her body weight 😁 But she is still so small compared to her sibling!

Believe it or not, Izzy just delivered an 11th puppy and it is extremely small. It weighs only 4.2oz. The smallest puppy I have ever had before was 8ish ounces. I will do my best, but not sure if this one will survive being so little ☹️ it is a yellow female.

We need some suggestions for a litter theme and litter names. Recently we had the Alaska litter, the 4th of July litter, the Halloween litter and the storm litter. Some ideas are boat names, fi***rm names, animal names.
As of now we have:
1 yellow/champagne male
1 yellow/champagne female
3 silver males
2 chocolate females
1 chocolate male
1 charcoal male
1 charcoal female

They are all doing great!!

Momma and her pile of puppies!!! Not sure that she is done yet though 🐾 Brooke Walker Cash is such a great daddy throwing all these colors! Still waiting for a black puppy. Her last litter she had 12 puppies and 8 of them were black!!
