This weekend reminded me that not every dog that comes through our kennel is going to feel comfortable right away. We always have a couple that are a little nervous or shy, and it’s so special watching them slowly come out of their shells throughout their stay.
Ranger & River are the perfect example. These two are some of the biggest babies and were both pretty shy when they first came. Somehow, they found each other and have become the best of friends. River would honestly rather be in Ranger’s kennel with him than in her own! 🥹
We truly get some of the sweetest dogs through our kennel, and we are so grateful for every single one of them. I will always do my best to make sure your dog feels safe, loved, and well cared for while they’re here, and I’ll do everything I can to help them feel comfortable when they’re missing home.
It’s moments like this that remind me why I love what I do. 🐾💕
