We’re so grateful for this thoughtful 5-star review from Deb Prova.

“Dr. Kenna is great! I request her when my dog has her yearly checkup… My dog is 13 years old and has a few problems. Dr. Kenna doesn’t push me to do expensive tests and I really appreciate that.”

Did you ever wonder why dogs eat grass? 🌿

It’s one of the most common questions pet owners ask. In many cases, occasional grass eating is completely normal behavior and may simply be linked to curiosity, taste, boredom, or digestion.

Most dogs who eat grass are not sick, but if it becomes frequent or is paired with vomiting, lethargy, or appetite changes, it’s worth having them checked.

As always, make sure the grass your dog has access to hasn’t been treated with pesticides or chemicals.

Cats are experts at hiding stress, which means the signs can be easy to miss.

Changes in grooming, appetite, litter box habits, or behavior may all be clues that your cat is feeling anxious or uncomfortable. The good news is that small adjustments at home can often make a big difference.🐱

Cats and hairballs: what’s normal and what isn’t?

Occasional hairballs can be normal for cats, especially those who groom frequently. You might see one every few weeks without other symptoms.

But more frequent hairballs, or other changes, can be a sign something isn’t right.

Watch for:
• Hairballs happening often or in clusters
• Vomiting without producing a hairball
• Loss of appetite
• Lethargy or weight loss

Frequent hairballs can be linked to digestive issues, excessive grooming, or underlying health concerns.

If you’re noticing a change, it’s worth having your cat checked. We’re here to help keep them comfortable and healthy.
