🍔🏎️Following our 5K Hainesport Township is hosting their “Fall Food Truck & Car Show” where we will be a vendor! There will be lots of food, several family fun activities, therapy horses, and more! Our Memorial Walking Path will be open to the public for the duration of the event, and we will be selling 50/50 tickets, holding our Basket Auction, and choosing all of the winners that day (you do not need to be present to win)!

Spyce could use a foster (or a furever home)!! She is seriously such a good girl. Good with dogs, good with kids, playful, loving, goofy— what more could you want in a pup?!? 🐾🐶💜

FOSTER HOMES NEEDED! 🏡❤️🐾

These sweet pups are looking for a temporary place to call home! Fostering gives a shelter dog a much-needed break, lots of love, and a chance to show off who they really are outside of the shelter!

Even a short-term foster can make a HUGE difference!

🌈🐾 It’s Rainbow Bridge Remembrance Day 🐾🌈

Remembering all of the pups who helped shape me into who I am today. I grew up with Saint Bernards— Sadie was our first at a whopping 140 pounds in her prime. Then there was Sampson, the sweetest soul I’ve ever had the privilege of knowing. He sadly died young, only about 6 years old. Bosley was my family’s next Saint, driving Sadie crazy in his puppy years. Bosley was the most elegant gentleman you could ever meet. An instant soul dog. Sadie died while I was away at college at about 12 years old.

When I graduated from undergrad and came home, I made what would become the best impulse purchase ever— Marley. Marley was a Shepherd Collie mix that I bought from some sketchy farm in PA (I was young and ignorant to rescue at the time). Marley went on to drive Bosley crazy and eventually became his best friend. Frisbee loving Marley stayed with my parents when I moved out and was the absolute best dog for them. The most loyal guy around— so good with my niece and nephew, a true caretaker and protector. Bosley died in 2020. Marley died last September. I got to hold both of their paws as they took their last breath.

And of course you all know Andrew. The first dog that was my complete responsibility. The first dog I ever met with some behavioral challenges (anxiety). He was my first rescue and opened my heart up to something I never knew was meant for me. He was my soul dog and there are not enough words to express the gratitude I feel to have had him in my life for the almost four years he was with us. He was simply the best and the whole reason for my passion for helping dogs just like him.

I am so grateful for each of these pups. They showed me unconditional love through every season of my life. We truly don’t deserve dogs. 💜🌈🐾

🐶 We are so excited to share that we are sponsoring Spyce’s care at Homeward Bound Pet Adoption Center each month until she gets adopted!

💜 Speaking genuinely.. bro. This dog is a straight up sweetheart, oh my god! She absolutely stole my heart when I first saw her in her kennel. I have a soft spot for seniors and Spyce is no exception. I cannot wait to go and spend more time with her very soon! She is great with other dogs and kids!!

🐶 Don't let her age fool you— 9-years-young, Spyce still has plenty of pep in her step! This adorable girl is covered in the cutest little brown freckles and has a personality that's just as charming. Spyce is always wagging her tail and wiggling her whole body with excitement. She absolutely loves her toys and is still incredibly playful, proving that age is just a number! Her joyful spirit and happy attitude are sure to brighten every day. Well, in true Poopy Doo fashion, shortly after we started sponsoring him and on the day we were supposed to go and meet him, Thor found his furever family! Congratulations to Thor and his people! We are extremely happy for you!! 💜🐾🐶
