🌟 Student of the Week: Kennedy 🌟
Kennedy has been with me since day one—back when we had a tiny eight-stall barn, a small outdoor arena, and just a couple of lesson horses. Loyalty means so much to me, and hers has never wavered.
One of the things I admire most about Kennedy is that she never gives up, no matter what kind of day, week, or month she’s having.
Last weekend at the Championship, she had a few tough rides and didn’t finish the way she’d hoped. But she never once blamed her horse. She walked out of the arena patting her on the neck, gave her an apple, and brought her home. The very next day, while everyone else was enjoying Jumper Championships, Kennedy showed up to clean stalls all by herself.
That says so much about who she is.
Kennedy takes on every challenge I give her without complaint. She accepts constructive criticism with more maturity than many adults, and no matter how her last ride went, she comes back to the barn with a smile, ready to put her horse first.
All of my students inspire me, but Kennedy reminds me to keep going—even when things are hard and the results haven’t caught up with the effort. She reminds me that the things we want are worth working for.
Kennedy, I’m so proud of your perseverance, your loyalty, and the kindness you show your horse. Thank you for being part of this barn from the very beginning. ❤️
