This is my friendly and also not so friendly reminder that with summer temps starting to please DO NOT LEAVE YOUR DOGS IN THE CAR.

It doesn't matter if it's 2 mins or 20. It's absolutely unacceptable during high temperatures.

Leaving your AC on does not help. As soon as those windows are closed or mostly closed the hot air gets trapped and even in the nicest cars or trucks your AC will not be able to compensate when the heat index is over 85.

If you're going to risk your dog's life cause you wanna run into the store for a few minutes then you shouldn't own a dog. It only takes a 2 degree increase in body temp for heat stroke to start in dogs.

You wouldn't leave your kid in a hot car so why should your dog not get the same respect.

When people wonder why I rarely do overnight pet sitting. This is my pack plus 1 lol when I do anything overnight my roommate has 4 extra dogs to take care of. So it's only fair I rarely do them. That way she isn't having to take care of mine for free. They may be a good bunch but it's still 4 extra dogs to take care of 🐕🐕🐕🐕

Especially since she also works with animals and pet sits plus more 🩶🐶
