It’s the perfect time to get those summer bodies in shape! And you could do that with the help of some cute puppies! We are only hosting yoga once this summer even though we always get people asking us later in the summer, it’s not happening! If you want to hang out with some cute puppies, cuddle with some cute puppies, inhale some puppy breath, and possibly get some exercise in at the same time your chance is June 28 at 1 o’clock in Morton! Join us at Doodlekins for an hour of relaxation or yoga is always optional, but puppy snuggles are mandatory! This is a kid friendly event and the space is definitely air-conditioned. Limited seating is available and once it’s sold out no more tickets will be added. Get your tickets while there is space!

We aren’t quite sure how else to tell people how great he is because usually small dogs go pretty quickly for us! He’s a fun dog that isn’t going to get any bigger.

Coraline or Cora as she goes by with her foster mom is a happy go lucky pup in her foster home. She LOVES other dogs a ton. She also likes cats and kids. Cora is pretty much the perfect houseguest because she’s housebroken and crate trained too! If you ask if she has a favorite toy, the answer to that is no because she likes all toys. Literally, squeak toys, cool with her, rope, toys, Nyla, bones, tennis balls, you name it she likes it. She also doesn’t have favorite treats. She likes them all. This dog is not picky. She’s eight months old and she is a chocolate lab and surprisingly standard poodle mix. And yes, she does shed less than most dogs. She just looks mostly lab. She is not hypoallergenic because no dog is hypoallergenic. She does shed less though! Cora is not a social butterfly out of the house. She’s kind of an introvert. She doesn’t mind if you have people over. She’s probably going to ignore them. She vastly prefers the other dogs in the home to the humans that come over to visit. Once she gets to know you and you are in her circle, you are besties with her. And you better know that your besties with her. She loves to come up and give kisses to those in her circle, and she has pretty good recall to come in the house once she knows you. We are requiring a fenced in backyard and we are requiring another dog in the home for her because that seems to be how she thrives best. She’s fun and she’s super playful. Cora is only 8 to 9 months old and she’s really a great dog. If you have a fenced in backyard or a fenced in space that she can go into and if you have a canine companion for her, she’s looking forward to meeting you! She’s fully vetted and fixed. She will come with a couple months of heartworm prevention, her foster mom has bought her a bag of food, and she’s got a few toys that are coming with her when she moves on to her new home so she will be prepared for her forever family! Looking for a forever home or a new foster. Through no fault of her own, Ava is looking for a new foster parent. She is a delightful dog with humans and loves to socialize! She is absolutely wonderful with children. Ava does need to be an only dog. She does, however, love when you host people at your home. She loves to cuddle with you on the couch and she loves to snuggle with you in bed. If you want a champion snuggle, this is The Dog for you. The rescue will provide all of her food, supplies, toys, blankets, and covers all of her medical. She just needs a couch to crash on because she literally wants to crash on the couch and not sleep on the floor. She’s a middle-aged dog that finds the floor to be beneath her so if you’ve got a couch or chair that she can hang out with you in, that would be great! If you host people at your house even better because she’s a social butterfly with humans. If you have kids, she says that’s cool too because she will play with them and she will even let them dress her up if you really want to. She’s great with all humans. As we said, her only downfall is that she has to be an only pet, but she makes up for it and human companionship! If you’re looking for a middle-aged dog, that’s housebroken, doesn’t tear things up in the house and as a champion cuddler, send them our way because she needs a long-term Foster Home. We will provide everything you need and she’s under the care of excellent veterinary staff at Meadowbrook in Peoria! We are looking to make her move happen as soon as you are ready for her.

Scruffy doodles DO exist! Briony and Dawson are two more of our lower shed scruffy doodles that will be at the VFW in Bloomington today. They are not hypoallergenic because there is no such thing as a hypoallergenic dog. But they do shed less than other dogs in our program. Both puppies are about 10 weeks old and they are good with cats, dogs and small children. Marietta, definitely not a doom mix, is quite the riot. She is a social butterfly that is good with people of all ages, but does prefer to be the only dog in the home. She might be OK with smaller dogs, but does thrive best is the only pup in the home full-time. She loves to go on hikes and is playful and fun. She’s good with kids. She will also be at the event today and is looking for her forever family come say hi and meet multiple dogs available for adoption! If you might be interested in any of our puppies or dogs, get your application filled out ahead of time so you get the process started!
