💕 We got to feel all the feels with this puppy send off. I haven't cried that many happy tears in a long time💕
We sent Bella home, to a family that has been part of our PVC family for years. They are so very precious to me 🥰
This family has loved a Cavalier from us before. They know what it means to have one of these little souls become such a huge part of your life. They know the laughter, the companionship, the royal nature, the silly little habits, the unconditional love… and they also know the heartbreak of saying goodbye to their precious Stella.
I was blessed to walk this entire journey. And, now I have a wonderful friendship because of all we've faced together.
When the space has been given and the journey leads your heart to love again.
That’s where Bella comes in. ❤️
One of the things I have come to treasure most about being a breeder for so many years is that it gives me the privilege of walking through seasons of life with the families who have trusted me with their puppies.
I don’t just send a puppy home and never see them again.
I get to watch families grow.
I get to celebrate their milestones.
I get to hear the stories.
I get to share in the joy.
And sometimes, I get to walk beside them through grief.
Then, when the time is right, I get to watch something incredibly beautiful happen…
I get to watch them heal.
Bella isn't replacing Stella, Noone ever could.
She is simply coming into a home that already knows how deeply a Cavalier can be loved. She gets to make her own memories, find her own favorite places, develop her own funny little personality, and become her own irreplaceable piece of this family.
And watching these family members with Bella? 🥹
My goodness.
And Bella was kept a surprise from Grammy and Grandpa, and that video had my tears really flowing.
There is a certain kind of happiness that only a puppy can bring back into a home. ❤️
They all are absolutely basking in it.
Bella already has everyone wrapped around her little paws.
Even the adult kids are completely beside themselves over their new baby. And I LOVE that.
They may be grown, but Bella has somehow brought that little-kid excitement right back out of them.
Bella didn't just go home.
She's went home to a family who understands the depth of the love she is about to give and receive.
And for me, this is one of the greatest gifts of longevity as a breeder.
It's not just the generations of Cavaliers.
It's the generations of relationships.
It's knowing that a puppy I placed years ago became part of a family's history… and then being trusted again when their hearts are ready for another.
It's being there for the joyful chapters and the heartbreaking ones.
It's watching a family grieve.
And then, eventually, watching tiny paws and puppy kisses begin to fill those quiet spaces again.
There is something incredibly humbling about that.
THANK YOU for trusting me with this next chapter. And Jen, thank you for allowing me to be part of something so personal and meaningful — not only as your breeder, but as your friend. ❤️
Sweet Bella…
May you bring exactly what every puppy brings when the timing is right…
a little more laughter, a little more chaos, a whole lot of snuggles, and a whole load healing to all the hearts that need you, little girl. ❤️
Every puppy leaves paw prints on our hearts.
And every once in a while, we get the privilege of watching one help heal an entire family's hearts, too.
Bella, I know you are one of those puppies. 🐾💕
I am eternally grateful 🙏
