🐾 OLIVER IS STILL LOOKING FOR HIS FOREVER HOME! 🐾

Seriously, how many cats do you know who just lay under the coffee table like it’s their favorite piece of furniture? 😂

Oliver is sweet, loving, playful, and just wants to be near his people. ❤️ He’s got a little dog personality packed into a cat’s body, and he’s pretty darn adorable!

We love this boy, but we need to find him a home where he can be safe and happy while we continue our rescue work.

🐾 MABEL UPDATE: DAY 3 OF 57!! 🐾
57 days sounds like forever, but we’re taking it one day at a time! ❤️

Mabel is on strict rest, so it’s either the crate or being stuck on the couch. 😂 She’s such a trooper and listens so well. She’s doing GREAT and continues to be the absolute sweetest girl! 🥹💗

She still hasn’t found her voice, but trust me… we KNOW it’s in there somewhere! 🤣🔊

Keep cheering our girl on as she continues her journey to a healthier life! One day down, one day closer! 🐾💕

Day 1 is in the books, and Mabel is doing well! She’s getting lots of rest and taking it one day at a time. 💗

❤️ Miller Update! ❤️

Miller is doing well and continuing his chemotherapy treatments! 🐾❤️

His foster mom, Sherie, is having some Facebook issues and hasn’t been able to share updates, but don’t worry! Updates will be coming for everyone following Miller’s journey. 🐶

💔 MABEL REALLY NEEDS US NOW. 💔

When we brought Mabel into our rescue, we knew she was heartworm positive and would need treatment. What we didn’t know was how quickly things could change.

Over the weekend, Mabel’s condition deteriorated, and we’ve made the decision to fast-track her heartworm treatment. We can’t afford to wait and hope for the best. Mabel deserves a chance at a healthy, happy life. ❤️

So far, we’ve raised $500, and we are incredibly grateful. But we’ve already spent $200 on her initial vet visit and medications. The total estimated cost for Mabel’s treatments, spay, and tooth removal is $2,300. That means we still have a long way to go.

Mabel needs heartworm treatment, a spay, and a tooth removed. This is the heartbreaking reality of what happens when irresponsible people use dogs for breeding and leave them to deal with the consequences.

We’ve also tried for months to get a response from the low-cost spay/neuter clinic, but our requests have gone unanswered. Unfortunately, we’ve had to pay higher prices for Oliver’s neuter, and now we’re facing additional expenses for Mabel.

We are a very small rescue with limited funds and limited adoptions. We’re also covering chemotherapy for Miller, our long-term foster. We do everything we can, but the truth is, we cannot do it alone.

We knew Mabel needed us. We couldn’t turn our backs on her, and we won’t. ❤️

💔 MILO NEEDS A NEW FAMILY. PLEASE HELP! 💔

Milo is just 4 years old, 70–80 lbs, neutered, and up to date on his shots. He’s a sweet boy who loves people and has lived successfully with both dogs and cats.

Unfortunately, Milo isn’t adjusting well to a new baby, and he needs a home where he can thrive. Because of his reaction to the baby, a home with older children would be best.

🥺 Milo doesn’t understand why his world is changing. He just wants what every dog deserves: a family to love and a place to call home.

🚨 WE ARE DESPERATELY LOOKING FOR A HOME FOR OLIVER! 🚨

Oliver is loving, sweet, playful… and did we mention ADORABLE?! 😻❤️ He has so much love to give, and we absolutely adore this boy.

So why are we pleading for someone to adopt him?

Because as much as we love Oliver, we have to be honest about what’s best for EVERY animal in our care.

Oliver is not what we’d call dog-savvy. 😂 While most cats prefer to avoid the dogs, Oliver takes the opposite approach. He stalks them. Constantly. He doesn’t run away from the dogs… he antagonizes them!

“But give it time!” Some of you might say. And yes, Oliver is fine with Mabel. But Mabel is sweet, submissive, and tolerant. We cannot guarantee that every dog who comes through our rescue will be like her.

We will NOT put Oliver or any dog we rescue at risk. Period.

We have to make responsible decisions for every animal who depends on us, even when those decisions break our hearts.

We need Oliver to find his own loving home so he can be safe, thrive, and get all the attention he deserves. And so we can continue opening our doors to the dogs who desperately need us.

🙏 PLEASE HELP US FIND OLIVER HIS PERSON!

A home where he can be loved, spoiled, and be his adorable, mischievous self without putting himself or another animal in a dangerous situation.

💔 MABEL NEEDED US. NOW WE NEED YOU. 💔

When we rescue a dog, we make a promise to give them a chance at the life they deserve. And when Mabel came into our lives, we knew she needed us. ❤️

Mabel is heartworm positive, and she needs treatment to give her the chance at a healthy future. She also needs to be spayed so we can ensure she never has to contribute to the cycle of unwanted animals.

The truth is, we are a very small rescue with limited adoptions and even more limited funds. Right now, we are covering all of the chemotherapy treatments for Miller, our long-term foster who has been with our partner in Louisiana. We are incredibly grateful for everyone who has supported Miller on his journey. He deserves every chance, and we are committed to him. ❤️

But the reality is that our funds are stretched thin. Really thin.

And then there’s Mabel. 🥹

We could have said we didn't have the funds. We could have waited until things were easier. But when you look into the eyes of a dog who needs help, walking away just isn't that simple.

So we said YES to Mabel. And now we're asking you to help us keep that promise.
