It's crunch time! ALL ALASKA REPTILE AND EXOTICS EXPO is this weekend, 8/8/26 at the Menard Center in Wasilla.

We'll have substrate, drainage, leaf litter, Repashy products, center piece Manzanita, clean up crews and so much more (if my cork shipment arrives on time we'll have a couple hundred pounds 🤞🤞)

Spent the day making fruit fly media (5 gallons of it 😲) and cultures. This is by far the best media I have ever used and spent years developing it.

If you've got a scaley, crawly or slimey friend who eats flies make sure to stop by the All Alaska Reptile and Exotics Expo on 8/8 and grab a culture.

Bump does not approve of me meddling in his enclosure 😤

Bump is the last leopard gecko here at the Frontier. He was a rescue who had lost his tail and all but 2 of his toes. His recovery went well and most recently his care has been taken over by the kiddos.

Ranitomeya vanzolinii will raise their own young if given the opportunity. As facultative egg feeders the male will coax the female into laying eggs for the tadpole to eat.
