Unfiltered reality - finding motivation to draw late at night after losing my drive. Being an artist is hard, I’ve been in a drawing slump for a few months now. Dealing with depression and ADHD, a new routine with a new job, trying to the healthy and kind to myself. Just wanted to put a post out there that I really appreciate everyone that still follows my work and hopefully inspire some kindness to other artists dealing with the same thing.

I think it’s a fine time to turn over a new leaf. I went into 2020 lost and we were all dealt a bad hand. I’m not saying that 2021 is gonna be ‘my year’ but I am going to do my best to make it as fulfilling as possible. I have a couple of projects that I’ve left on the back burner for quite some time that I am going to be throwing myself into. One of which is a plant series that this Monstera Adansoii leaf is part of.
