Ginger is getting ready to look for her furever family and will be available soon. This loving girl simply wants to be near her people, hang out, and settle into a good calm life.

We believe Ginger was used mostly as a breeder dog, so she is now learning what it feels like to be loved and a part of her foster family. She is the type of dog you could mold into almost anything, and is learning to understand what she is being asked to do.

Meet Ricky! Ricky has come a long way, and we are proud of every step. This 9-month-old boy knows what he likes, and what he likes best is the company of other dogs. Ricky does wonderfully with canine friends and is looking for a confident companion dog to show him the ropes and share his days. With people, he is still finding his way. Ricky is not a pup who asks for cuddles or fusses for attention, and he would rather you give him his space than reach in for affection he has not invited. That is simply who he is right now, and the right family will respect it and let trust build on his terms.

What Ricky truly loves is a good leash walk, and he comes alive with a purpose and a path ahead of him. He needs a securely fenced yard where he can move freely and feel safe, and a breed experienced family who understands a German Shepherd's mind and can read what he is telling them. Ricky is not looking to be the center of attention. He is looking for a steady, knowledgeable home that values him exactly as he is, a loyal canine friend at his side, and the quiet kind of bond that is earned rather than rushed. For the right person, that bond will be worth every bit of patience it takes.

Meet Sammie Lynn! Sammie is a six year old, medium size, intelligent and food motivated German Shepherd. She came to the rescue as a stray and has adjusted well. Now all she needs is a forever home! Picked up as a stray, 4-year-old Pope arrived underweight, heartworm positive, and lacking house and leash training, but he has a remarkably friendly temperament! He greets other dogs and cats politely, and settles quickly once away from noise. With his foster guiding his heartworm treatment and basic training, this easygoing boy will soon be ready for a forever home to build on his strong foundation!
