Small repairs can make a BIG difference! 🛠️

This step took a little extra work after a visitor’s pet damaged the carpet and padding. Our technician removed the leftover staples, prepped the area, and used donor carpet to bring the step back to life. 🧰

The replacement carpet is a little newer and brighter, but the finished result looks so much better than the damage we started with! ✨

Commercial Carpet Has a Tough Job 💫

Think about what commercial carpet deals with every day:

They turned on the heat… and discovered an odor they couldn’t explain. ♨️

What we found hiding
under the carpet tells the rest of the story.

The new homeowners, only the second owners of the property, noticed an unpleasant smell when they briefly turned on the heat for the first time the other night.

Unsure of where it was coming from, they called in The Carpet Handyman to investigate.

The culprit? 👉🏻 Pet urine contamination on the backside of the carpet.

Odor sources aren’t always visible, and masking the smell won’t solve the problem. Sometimes, you have to look beneath the surface to find the real source.

When odors won’t go away, finding the source is the first step.

The Longer a Spill Sits, the More Complicated It Can Become ☕

Spilled something on the carpet?

Don't wait until tomorrow or later to wipe it up.

The longer a spill sits, the more opportunity it has to spread, soak into the carpet fibers and become harder to remove. 💪🏻

And rubbing spills aggressively isn't always the answer.

The wrong cleaning method can also spread the problem bigger or damage the fibers.

When in doubt, act quickly and use the right product for the type of spill.
