When you win your first saddle we have to take a moment to drool over it!

October is a slow month for Fancy, we have another week and a half before her ultrasound that will determine what coming back to work looks like over the winter.

She seem to be enjoying the supportive therapies we’re doing in the meantime.

I love putting a horse on balance pads. There’s a bunch of different reasons and benefits of it. There’s times I ask a horse to stand on them at the beginning of a session, to help evaluate what’s going on in their body. It’s a great way to see how a horse is loading their weight, do they shift completely to one side, do they sway back and forth, do they find balance on both, do they balance on the hoof evenly? That information can help me determine what areas need the most attention

And that’s a wrap on our show season!

Fance and I had a great ride Friday night before our Saturday show. Our show day ended early due to a stumble and both of us falling. I have to laugh because we were the first ride of the show, what a way to set the tone 🤦‍♀️ we’re both a little sore but okay! Though I unfortunately didn’t end up in the photographers chair like I’d planned.

Fancy enjoyed her vet visit on Monday, I think chiropractor and bemer days are her favorite. This fall I should have some bodywork and rehab topics to share, should make for some fun conversation!

As the show season is growing to a close I want to take a moment to say thank you to everyone who made this season so amazing 💚
