Howe's Handy Horses, established in 2021, specializes in c**t starting as well as problem horses, using a soft handed technique to instill a trust and partnership between horse and rider. Zach Howe is the horseman behind Howe's Handy Horses, which is a mobile horse training business that specializes in starting young horses and working with horses that may have a few challenges to overcome. As a m

obile horse training business, Zach will come to you and your horse. First, he'll have a discussion with you about the horse, it's history, where it's at now and what you hope to accomplish. From there, Zach will develop a plan and make recommendations as to what the next steps are and how he will accomplish the goals set. Training fees for Howe's Handy Horses can either be purchased on a single or bulk session basis or as one of our focused training packages. Zach is also willing to work with an owner to design a tailored package to meet not only budget needs but also to ensure the goals for the horse are met. Farm call fee's begin at $5. It's been a hot minute since we posted last - things have been good and summer is in full swing!

We've decided to offer back up Elmo (Dancing for Gold - 2015 POA). We took him off the market in the Fall and opted to keep him on and enjoy him a bit longer. Well, he is ready for a new pasture folks!

๐Ÿ”ธTackled the obstacle course more times than we an count.

๐Ÿ”ธKeeps up with the big horses and has a nice 'pep to his step'.
๐Ÿ”ธGreat as a step up horse for youth or adults.
๐Ÿ”ธSolid built and easily carries adults.
๐Ÿ”ธHe does have two scars - one of his front knee and one the back leg in front of the hock. They are just scars - no soundness issues.
๐Ÿ”ธUTD on annual shots, deworming and has current negative Coggins test. PPE's welcome at your expense.

'๐‘ฌ๐’๐’Ž๐’' is a 2015, registered breeding stock POA gelding.

This is one nice sized gelding that youth and adults can ride. Elmo had many miles put on over the summer being trail ridden, used at a small local schooling show, completed obstacles at River Valley Horse Camp, and introduced to cattle. He has a motor if you need it and could make a nice show/game pony or continue down the path of being a solid trail mount. Elmo has always kept a level head and has been a very willing with anything thrown at him. He's happy to hit the trails solo, go out in a group and even pony another horse along with him.
