Bella “B-Money” Putman | Age 13
Meet Bella “B-Money” Putman! Bella has been chasing cans since she was 7 years old. These days you’ll find her aboard Streakin Pacific Bar (“Rico”), her trusty 21-year-old gelding by ASOF, or ML Money In the Mane (“Butters”), an 8-year-old gelding by Reds Western Native. Coming up the line is her exciting young stallion prospect, Reds Smokin Native (“Louie”), who is currently in training and will be making his competition debut before long.
Bella’s competitive spirit and confidence were built alongside her once-in-a-lifetime heart horse, Reds Smokin Stampede (“Rebel”). Rebel passed away in 2024, but the lessons he taught her, the memories they made, and the bond they shared continue to shape the rider she is today. He truly made “B-Money” who she is.
Bella competes in both barrel racing and pole bending and has earned multiple Open 1D/2D and Youth 1D wins, rodeo championships, saddle wins, and several short-go qualifications. She loves the thrill of competition but loves cheering on her friends just as much. If someone needs a hand at the trailer or a pep talk before a run, Bella is usually the first one there.
When she’s not at the arena, you’ll probably find her on the softball field, listening to music, shopping, doing hip hop karaoke, or talking about her favorite Thunder player, Jared McCain. She’s got a big personality, an even bigger heart, and a drive to keep learning, improving, and having fun every step of the way.
Keep an eye out for B-Money—she’s just getting started! Can't wait to see all the glitter they leave in the air from running so fast!
