The Dog Days of Summer… Basset Hound Style!

While everyone else has been out soaking up the summer sun, our Huffer Hounds have a different idea of how to spend these hot summer days.

Around here, the dog days of summer mean finding the coolest spot in the kennel, stretching those short legs out, turning those long ears loose, and enjoying that sweet, sweet A/C! ❄️🐶

No running. No sweating. No unnecessary movement. Just naps, snacks, belly rubs, and staying cool.

Because if there’s one thing a Basset Hound knows how to do, it’s LAY UP and RELAX!

Today we had the pleasure of delivering sweet Lena to her forever family in Palm Coast, Florida! ❤️ It never gets old watching one of our puppies meet the family that has been waiting so excitedly for them.

We are so thankful Lena has found such a loving home, and it was clear from the moment they met that she is already adored. We can't wait to watch her grow and see all the memories they'll make together.
