I will be watching the development of this storm and will update my clients that are scheduled for Friday and Saturday if anything changes. Please be prepared in case I do need to reschedule anyone on short notice.

Safety first! Be careful this weekend 😊

Governor Kay Ivey has issued a state of emergency for 40 Alabama counties ahead of Tropical Storm Isaias including Wiregrass counties.

My laptop is finally working (hopefully I don't jinx it), so I can post some videos again.
This sweet boy loves toys so much he barely even notices what I'm here. I am endlessly entertained watching him play it's hard to keep grooming because I just want to join in!!

Bentley! His ears have so much personality and it's one of the cutest things about him. He's the bravest out of his siblings but his brother is slowly starting to think I'm not so bad lol.

Showed up for an appointment today and went around to the back door like usual… locked. 🤦‍♀️

So I went to the front, rang the doorbell, and the husband—who was apparently in the shower— popped his head out real quick to let me know he unlocked and opened the back door. I went back around to the patio… only to discover he had forgotten to unlock the screen door. 😂

I waited a few minutes, hoping he’d realize I still didn’t have the dogs, the whole time I'm thinking, “Do I fit through this doggy door???”

For anyone wondering, it turns out that I do.

Crawled through and problem solved.
Just another day in the life of a mobile groomer. 🐕 ✂️ 🐾

I’ve had whitening shampoos for my white & light coats, and brightening shampoos for black coats… but what about all the beautiful colors in between?!
I’m SO excited to finally offer something specifically
for my reds and apricots who have lost some of their vibrancy as they have aged! 🐾✨

This color-enhancing shampoo(this is not a hair dye) is designed to revitalize and bring the richness back to those warm coats, because our reds deserve to be vibrant too! ❤️🧡

I can’t wait to see these colors come back to life and I have quite a few specific pups in mind for this!!! ✨🐶

Just a quick reminder that I will be away attending the Groom Expo in Hershey, Pennsylvania, from this Wednesday through Sunday!
I attend continuing education seminars every year to keep my skills sharp, but this will be my first time at this particular convention. It is the premier event everyone in the pet industry hopes to attend, and I couldn't be more excited!
Please note that I will be in classes throughout the day and will have limited availability. I appreciate your patience and look forward to bringing back new knowledge, techniques, and inspiration for all of my clients.

Winnie is just the cutest little thing. She's so much smaller in person and I am so proud of how far she's come with learning the grooming routine! I've become very fond of her ❤️❤️

With everything happening in our local community lately, I think it's important for pet owners to remember...
You should never be afraid to ask who is caring for your animal!

How long have they been grooming? What certifications do they hold? Do they have any specialized training? What standards do they follow for cleanliness and sanitation? And most importantly how do they treat the animals entrusted to them when nobody is watching? Don't be afraid to ask for a tour of the facility.

I've been grooming professionally for 21 years and have been a Certified Pet Esthetician since 2021 along with numerous other certifications. Senior Pet Certified, Cat Certified, and Pet First Aid Certified just to name a few from over the years.
My education doesn't stop with a certificate.
Every year I attend seminars and continuing education opportunities to keep learning and improving.
In just a couple of weeks, I'll be attending Groom Expo in Hershey and spending a few days in classes ✂️🐾

It's our job as pet professionals to stay current and obtain education from leaders in the industry. Online sources can be helpful, but sometimes unverified and inaccurate.
I don't share this to say I'm better than anyone else. I share it because pet owners deserve transparency when choosing who cares for their animals.

Experience matters. Education matters. Cleanliness matters. Safety matters. And compassion matters. Even though I am still unable to add any new clients, there are many qualified ones in the area I would personally recommend.

Your pet can't choose their groomer. You do. ❤️
