“Gloria” Berkshire Sow

She is approximately 4-5 years old and has a history of producing big litters of piglets. She has been a proven sow for her previous owners, although we have not personally bred her since she came to us.

She is very tame, calm, and easygoing, making her a nice addition for someone looking to add a mature Berkshire sow to their breeding program.

We are making some changes and will be pricing her reasonably for someone looking for a proven sow.

Mia came to us from Circle B Farm and gave us a beautiful ram lamb this year in her first lambing season.

Great mother, had an unassisted birth, and raised her lamb well.

Bonus: she has a nicely shaped udder. I didn’t get the chance to milk her to see what her milk production is.

Mia does have a tendon issue affecting her hind legs, which she has had since we purchased her. We believe it is from a deficiency when she was a young lamb. It does not affect her mobility, ability to get around, or her ability to breed and lamb normally.

She would make a nice addition for someone interested in the clun breed.
