This duo has figured out something a lot of us spend years trying to learn. Just coexist, enjoy the sunshine, and stop overthinking it. ๐ŸŒž

While there are many species of iguana, the most commonly found species found in the pet trade is the Green Iguana (Iguana iguana). This species can grow upwards of 6 feet in length and live for over 20 years with the proper care. Their adult enclosure is massive (๐ฆ๐ข๐ง๐ข๐ฆ๐ฎ๐ฆ size of 8ft long, 4ft deep, and 8ft tall) which can be overwhelming, especially for a keeper new to the hobby.

Often bought on impulse because of their low price tag and the variety of colors they come in, many people are unaware of their requirements, adult size, and poor temperament.
