In 1917, a stray bull terrier mix wandered into a training camp in New Haven, Connecticut. The soldiers kept him. What happened next made him the most decorated war dog in American military history.
Sergeant Stubby served 18 months on the Western Front. He survived a gas attack, warned his unit of incoming fire, and once caught a German spy by the seat of his pants.
He came home a hero. Paraded down Fifth Avenue. Met three presidents.
Not bad for a stray. 🐾

A quick message to all current Turd Herders clients.

This is a quick reminder for all Turd Herders clients: beginning in November, several important system updates will take effect that may impact your service if action is not taken. If you have updated your new account fully, you do not need to do anything. Please review the following carefully:

1️⃣ Notification Settings

If you have not logged into your new Sweep & Go Client Portal and updated your notification preferences, you will not receive “on the way” text notifications when we’re headed to your home.

2️⃣ Automatic Payments

If you would like to remain on auto pay but have not yet entered your credit card information in your new account, your card will not be charged on November 1.

3️⃣ Service Day Changes

We will no longer send day-before email reminders. Please log into your account to confirm your scheduled service days, as some routes have been adjusted and your service day may have changed.

4️⃣ Verify Contact Information

We recently entered hundreds of phone numbers into the new system. Please log in to confirm your information is correct. You can now include multiple contacts (for example, a spouse or property manager).

5️⃣ Not Continuing Regular Service?

If you will not be receiving regular service after October, but would like to remain in our system for future use, please let us know. This ensures your information is properly entered into the new system for easy reactivation later.

Please note: other than your current subscription and pricing details, everything visible in the new system prior to November 1 is for training purposes only. If you see a note indicating a service was missed, that is not accurate — we have not yet begun using the new system for live scheduling or reporting.

📩 Several emails have been sent with detailed instructions to ensure a smooth transition to the new system. Please check your Time to Pet messages, or look in your email folders for messages from [email protected].

If you need assistance accessing your new account or updating your information, please reply to this email or call our office at (603) 965-2259. We’re happy to help get everything set up.

Thank you for your attention and for helping us make this transition as smooth as possible!

Sincerely,

The Turd Herders Team

⚠️ Public Service Announcement ⚠️

Attention Residents of Manchester, NH (Ohio Ave & Bridge St. Ext. Area):

A large bobcat has been spotted roaming in your neighborhood. While bobcats typically hunt birds, squirrels, and rabbits, they are capable of climbing fences and may pose a risk to small, unattended pets.

Important Safety Tips for Pet Owners:
Do not leave small dogs or cats outside unattended, even in fenced yards.
Ensure pets are brought indoors during early morning and evening hours when wildlife is most active.
Keep trash cans secured to avoid attracting smaller prey animals that may draw the bobcat closer.
Avoid feeding wildlife, as this can create unintended risks for pets and humans.
Bobcats are generally shy and unlikely to pose a direct threat to humans. If you encounter the bobcat, do not approach it. Instead:

Stay calm and give it space.
Make noise or appear larger to encourage it to leave.
Let’s work together to ensure the safety of our pets and community. Stay alert, stay safe!
