Getting to HSWLA from DeRidder: Drive North on Hwy 171, take the first U-turn after Catfish Hut Rd. Head South on Hwy 171 and HSWLA will be on your immediate right. Getting to HSWLA from Leesville: Drive South on Hwy 171, pass through the town of Rosepine. The HSWLA will be on your right, just past Hwy 3226 (north of the city of DeRidder).

The HSWL adoption fee is $150 for dogs/puppies and cats/kittens is $150. This fee covers spay/neuter and vaccinations.

Please note that pre-adoptions cannot be made via phone, email, or Facebook Messenger; you must meet us at the PetSmart location in Alexandria, Louisiana, to experience the joy.

Meet Draka, our resident goof ball and the sweetest thing. She keeps getting overlooked for adoption and we are totally stomped as to why. She is a 7 to 8 month old, female, Terrier mix. She is very energetic and loves meeting people and children too. She has been spayed and vaccinated. Her adoption fee is $150

If you would love to meet her, she is currently at our adoption center. Viewing and adoption hours are 1 to 4 everyday.
