I can’t believe I’m saying this but the end of summer is near and school will be starting soon!

I’m offering a 1 week jump start board and train for new clients and can also take dogs who have graduated any training program for a refresher course. Join us 8/3- 8/9…Space will be limited and you won’t see these prices again this year.

New clients…this jump start will be great for working on the basics and introducing appropriate social skills. Included will be a slip lead and 1 private lesson. Call for a free consult to see if you qualify and/or for a quote.

Learn to Lead Grads…life is busy, we get it…let us get your dog back on track…the week will be spent working on areas you need the most help with, call for a quote (but it’s heavily discounted if you know my normal rates 😉)

Bandit is the new guy in for a boarding stay and he struggles around dogs. No worries…he gets tons of playtime with me instead! A normal boarding facility for an anxious or especially a reactive dog can be super stressful for them. We offer a much more quiet environment and provide physical outlets to let off some steam.

Buttercup is nearing the end of her day training program and we’ve started taking her training on the road!

She has suffered with car sickness for some time and we’ve spent a lot of time getting her comfy in a crate and taking very short trips to work up to getting her to town to train in public. Happy to report she took a 35 minutes ride to town and back with several stops in between without an issue!

This weekend I took Zwell and Tarkan to the German Shepherd Dog Club of Beaumont’s AKC rally and obedience trial and both dogs were great!

Zwell started her rally training back in the fall and she finished her Rally Novice title with 2 first place finishes!

Tarkan stepped back into the obedience ring after over a year off from the sport and picked up 2 of the 3 legs with some nice scores and first place finishes!

The world of dog sports is a fun one and if you are looking for ways to get out and put your training to work, there’s so many venues your can try. Need help? Reach out! I can help get you started in a variety of sports!

This crew plays hard and can immediately turn it off when directed. So proud of these dogs today! Good socialization isn’t free for all play. The other side of the coin is sharing space while also having the skills to be calm and relaxed when asked to be so.

Thresholds have been hard for Chloe but she’s finally relaxing AND giving eye contact while waiting to be released to cross the threshold. Slowly but surely we are slowing this girl down and building some impulse control!

Buttercup has been joining us twice a week for our day training program and just a few days in and she’s walking on a very loose leash, enjoying socializing, and is making big improvements in her overall obedience and manners!

Sometimes we get the floof to be the distraction dog and today he was spicy and served as a great distraction for Violet to practice her impulse control around. Good social skills is not just about playing with other dogs…dogs also need to be able to be neutral around other dogs. Violet is learning it’s more valuable to rest on place than it is to be in everyone else’s business!

We offer private lessons geared towards your sport of interest and offer various puppy raising programs with a conformation or sports foundation goals in mind. These can be very versatile based on the goals you have and are ideal for breeders or owners wanting proper socialization/exposure for a future star or even help with titling.
