A little late getting this posted, September has been a busy one! But it started out on Labor Day weekend and it was a good one!

We spent the weekend at the Bar MC Rodeo & Productions Brown County Rodeo, and that place was PACKED. I don’t think I’ve ever seen a local rodeo with that many people in the stands. It was pretty cool to see.

Cody and C**t helped out in the arena with the livestock, while Brandi and Grace made their first rodeo barrel runs. They did great!

Cochese was the star of the show Saturday night as the announcer’s mount. Definitely a new experience for him!

I stayed busy keeping the crew fed, and wrangling babies. It was a great weekend!

Exciting day here at the ranch. Grace decided a night full of thunderstorms was the perfect time to bring her big baby boy into the world. Welcome to the world Boone.

So proud of Hannah & Jenna and all the hard work they put in at the State Fair! 🐴❤️ They showed their hearts out, made some great memories, and even brought a few ribbons home! 🏆🎀 Couldn’t be prouder of these two!

What a great way to kick off a busy summer show season!
This weekend, we traveled to the Area 1 4-H Horse & Pony Show in Osgood. It was a long, hot day, but it was filled with great rides, lots of laughs, and plenty of success in the show pen.
We were proud to watch Hannah show both Flash and Cochise and Jenna compete with Chickisaw. Their hard work and dedication continue to pay off!
One of the best parts of the day was getting to see so many of our other riders and horse families out competing, too. Watching everyone support one another, cheer each other on, and celebrate successes together is what makes this sport so special. We were proud of all of our riders and the effort they put forth throughout the day.
Now it's time to keep the momentum going! This show officially kicks off what promises to be a very busy and exciting summer, starting with the Jennings County Fair this week. We can't wait to see what the season has in store and to continue making memories with our horses, riders, and families.
Congratulations to everyone who competed this weekend—we're proud of you all! 🐴☀️

Who doesn't love showing in a ⛈️thunderstorm⛈️.......😵‍💫.... But Hannah and Flash handled the atmospheric pressure with composure and grace. So proud of this team.

We hope everyone had a wonderful holiday season with their loved ones. We certainly did. The past year has been a transformative journey at SCC due to our focus on raising the twins. However, as they grow and mature, things are becoming more manageable, and we are excited to explore new opportunities and re-engage in equestrian activities with renewed passion and purpose. Notably, 2026 is designated as the year of the horse, symbolizing courage, momentum, and forward progress. We hope your 2026 is filled with clean runs, perfect patterns, stuck pivots and exceptional rail work. 🩷🐴
