🌊🐾 Beach Day Tips for Dogs! 🐾🌊

Schools out, everyone is traveling!
A trip to the beach can be a great adventure for your dog, but a little preparation goes a long way!
✔️ Check beach rules and leash requirements before you go.
✔️ Bring plenty of fresh water and a bowl, salt water isn't for drinking.
✔️ Provide shade and take breaks to prevent overheating.
✔️ Watch out for hot sand, sharp shells, and debris that can hurt paws.
✔️ Keep an eye on your dog in and around the water, even if they're a strong swimmer.
Most importantly, make it a positive experience! Practice recalls, reward calm behavior, and keep your dog's safety a top priority so everyone can enjoy the day.

The 60-Second Place Challenge!

Can your dog stay on their place bed for a full 60 seconds while you:
🐾 Walk around
🐾 Sit down
🐾 Move around the room
🐾 Toss a toy nearby
This simple exercise helps build impulse control, patience, and calmness, skills that make life easier both at home and out in the world.
Remember: success doesn't have to be perfect! If your dog is still learning, start with a shorter duration and build up from there.
