Meet one of the absolute pillars of our team - Emily H.
Emily has been with Denver Pro Pet Sitting for 5 years, and in that time, she’s become someone both we and our clients rely on day in and day out.
Her background is something special. She holds a degree in Zoology and has worked hands-on with animals most people only see in documentaries - including elephants, anteaters, giraffes, primates, and more during her time at the Santa Barbara Zoo. She’s also spent time in a veterinary emergency room and a canine physical therapy clinic, giving her a level of experience and awareness that goes far beyond typical pet care.
But what really stands out about Emily isn’t just her resume - it’s how naturally she connects with animals. Whether it’s a shy cat, a high-energy pup, or a senior pet needing extra attention, she has a calm, intuitive approach that pets immediately respond to.
When we asked Emily what she loves most about the job, this is what she shared:
Every day is different. I get to spend so much time outside, walking in different parts of the city, and of course… being with animals all day doesn’t hurt either 😉
She also values the independence and flexibility the role provides - the ability to manage her own schedule, run errands during the day, and build an income that fits her availability.
