I started hunting waterfowl at the age of 6. I didn't understand what was really going on all I knew is I just wanted to spend time with my dad in the Duck Blind. Fast forward 20 plus years and I still love this sport. There's just something about getting up early, making coffee, and heading out to the blind with the boys to go kill some green that gets my blood going. I created this page to simp

ly share my knowledge with others especially younger kids. I think its very important to get the younger generation involved in something other than sports or playing video games.

Her marking skills are unreal. 30 yard marks at 11 weeks. I stepped it up a notch this week instead of just throwing it I am starting to teach her to stay steady for 1 full second then releasing her on her name. Remember make it fun for them and always praise them.

My hunting partner Blake and his 3 year old black lab "The Chief" doing a double mark retrieve. Remember it's always good to train your dog and keep them in hunting mode even if it's something simple. Always be confident and show excitement while training.

Pretty stoked received a message today from the manager at sportsman warehouse. For those of you that don't know it's a big hunting retail store out here in Colorado. Big things to come next weekend going to look at some property and hopefully lock it down for this years waterfowl season. Things are starting to look good
