Memory Monday ✨🎄
Christmas 2023 with our first babies & the life they helped us build 🤍🐾

Before we became parents, Opie and Ariel were our world. Our first babies. The ones who grew with us, moved with us, & saw us through every season of life 🐶🤎

Watching them so patiently & lovingly accept the biggest shift. Them welcoming their little human brothers has meant more to us than we can ever put into words. They’ve given up quiet mornings, extra cuddles, and being the center of attention without ever complaining… only loving harder 🐾👶👶

We are endlessly grateful for their gentle hearts, their loyalty, and the way they’ve continued to show up for our family every single day.

Forever our first babies. Forever thankful. ✨

Happy Native American Heritage Month 🪶 🦬

We took our boys to the annual Bison Harvest, a tradition that continues to ground us in our culture, our community, and our gratitude.

This harvest is a two-day ceremony:

Day One:
We gather to honor the bison’s life through prayer, music, and storytelling. It’s a moment to give thanks, acknowledge its sacrifice, and teach our children the meaning of respect and reciprocity.

Day Two:
The community comes together to process the meat and share a meal made from the very bison we honored. It’s a reminder that nothing is wasted, everything has purpose, and that our traditions live on through togetherness.

We’re grateful to raise our boys in these teachings. Embracing who they are, where they come from, and the deep roots of our Native heritage 🧡
