My dearest Tango Cats....it has taken me 3 months to send this announcement. I want to first apologize to all you who have been asking when my next tango boot camp will begin. I appreciate everyone's patience, and I want you to know that I did not drop off the face of the earth, even though it felt like it.
On December 10th 2011, the beautiful Cha Cha Farley passed away. Cha Cha was my best friend ever, and so much more. She really was an angel disguised as a dog. She brought great happiness to so many people.
Cha Cha was with me from the very start of my teaching career, and was with me every day to witness hundreds of dancers we encountered together in my studio, and the Denver Turnverien in the last 14 years. Cha Cha was the unofficial mascot for Salsa Central Denver, and for the last 6 years she came to La Rumba every Saturday night to teach salsa with me.
Cha Cha brought a big smile to so many nervous students who were taking there first dance steps, she helped us all to relax and enjoy. I am so grateful that we had such a long happy life together.
Since Cha Cha Farley has passed, I have had to take a lot of time to heal my heart and body, and am still in the grieving process. For this reason I have not been able to set a date for the next Tango boot camp.
I apologize to all who have been writing to me with out any response. I have never grieved like this before, these past few months I have been frozen in sadness and have lost all sense of time. Writing this announcement I hope is a sign that spring is coming in my heart.
Thank you all to my friends and family who have given me so much love and support. Special thanks to Rachel Farley, (the best daughter in the world).
So my Tango Cats, we must Tango on. I am presently still in Denver and teaching private lessons and private group classes in my studio. I look forward to sharing tango with you all again soon. Please contact me for more information, I promise to respond!! Best wishes to everyone~ xoxoxoxoxoxoxo
