UPDATE - ADOPTED
Anyone missing a Venus in their orbit? 💫
Well, here she is… and she’s more than ready to find a place to land.
Venus is heading into her third adoption event this weekend, and right now, it’s looking like she might be overlooked again. At just under four months old, she’s already a survivor—and now it’s her turn to truly thrive.
Her two brothers made it to Colorado before her and have already found their homes. Venus had to stay behind, fighting through parvo… and she didn’t just survive it—she came out the other side happier than ever.
And if that wasn’t enough, Venus became a lifesaver, donating blood to another puppy who wasn’t responding to parvo treatment. A survivor and a hero… how could she get any better?
Let us tell you!
Venus isn’t the kind of dog who instantly trusts every human she meets—but give her a little time, and she’ll give you the kind of love that feels earned in the best way. The snuggles? Worth the wait. The bond? Unmatched.
Other dogs, though? She’s all in from the start. They bring out her confidence, her joy, her playful side—and help her forget she was ever nervous in the first place.
With a canine companion, Venus settles beautifully into a home and quickly learns the routine. She sleeps through the night in her crate or pen and will happily go in with a treat and a little patience. During the day, she’s mostly quiet, though she might give a few barks just to remind you she’s there.
She’s potty trained and dog door trained, but still a little shy about going on leash.
Like any puppy, she’s got a mischievous streak—counters are interesting, and shoes are... not... toys?—but she responds well to calm correction and guidance.
In just a handful of days, Venus has already shown such a beautiful transformation. She’s so close to giving her humans the same confidence, excitement, and love she shows her dog friends every day.
She comes ready to trust your pups—and with a little patience, she’ll trust you too.
Bring Venus home this Saturday and discover a connection that’s truly out of this world. 🌎💞
