My 3 new kitty buddies, Yuki, Simon, and CooperšŸ’• All three have such different personalities ~ Simon, the tuxedo, is my shadow and looooves to play with his wand toy. He is incredibly fast and heaven forbid if a bird ever got into the housešŸ˜³. Yuki, the flame point, is a bit more solitary, but such a sweet kitty and will play when the toys are enticing enough. And then thereā€™s CooperšŸ„° the little old man of the group. You think heā€™s sacked out on the sofa, but crinkle a treat bag, and heā€™s right there waiting. He also loves and demands daily faucet drinks when the dishes are being washed.

Introducing AspenšŸ’• Iā€™ve had the pleasure of having a couple sleepover trips with this ball of energy and she is such an amazing girl! As I have gotten to know her, Iā€™ve realized she loooooves her tennis balls (Big R brand only and will even pick a favorite even out of those), loves finding the biggest sticks to carry on trail, curses at bicycles and some unruly dogs on our walks, and will eviscerate any stuffie in sight.

Is this not just the sweetest face?! šŸ„¹ Bobbi and I spent a few nights together and every time I stay with her, she shows me a new part of her personality. I love teaching dogs tricks and watching them solve food puzzles, but my absolute favorite toy I bring is the dog treat dispenser! Teaching Bobbi how to touch the button was adorable to watch and then seeing her put it together with the treat dispenser was the highlight šŸ¤Ž She learned this toy so fast and I think she had a blast playing with it too!!

After Charlieā€™s unexpected health diagnosis this summer, our walks are looking a little different now. Earlier this year, we used to go for 2.5mile walks 5 days a week and now itā€™s just a bit over 1.5miles each day and Charlie sets the pace for the walk. He and Stella love getting out and his mom wants to make sure his quality of life is the best it can be for however long she has left with her boyšŸ„¹. So, Charlie, weā€™ll go as slow as we need to and sniff wherever you want!

Iā€™ve missed thisšŸ˜­ After an incredibly intense surgery and not being allowed to walk on my right leg at all for 8 weeks, this moment was more emotional for me than I ever thought it would be. PT, my PA and honestly, common sensešŸ˜…, all said I wouldnā€™t be walking dogs for a long time even after I was off crutches. I was supposed to build up to it, maybe 15minutes at a time. But once I leashed the boys, it was like I couldnā€™t stop! We finally got to enjoy our hour long walkie again, and Iā€™m not sure which of us had the best timešŸ„¹. Man, it feels good to be back!
