🐾 BIG DREAM. BIG CHANGES. BIG IMPACT. 🐾

Turning Tails Inc. needs to raise $2,500 to cover urgent veterinary care and other expenses for our current rescue animals as well as help us make some major improvements that will allow us to save even more lives.

Every day, we take in animals that others have given up on—animals who need medical care, training, rehabilitation, and a second chance. Right now, several of our rescues require veterinary treatment, vaccinations, medications, and follow-up care. Those costs add up quickly, but saying "no" isn't an option when an animal needs help.

This fundraiser will help us:

🐾 Cover current veterinary bills and ongoing medical care
🐾 Prepare additional space for incoming rescue animals
🐾 Secure reliable transportation for incoming rescues
🐾 Purchase essential supplies and equipment

One thing nobody tells you about animal rescue is just how much laundry comes with it.

Between puppy blankets, bedding, towels, crate pads, cleaning cloths, recovery supplies, and everything in between, our washer seems to run almost nonstop. With the number of animals currently in our care, our little home washing machine simply can't keep up anymore.

Sometimes rescue isn't glamorous. Sometimes it's itchy, exhausted puppies scratching nonstop and trying to stay comfortable despite circumstances they never chose.

Our newest rescue puppies came to us heavily infested with fleas and in need of immediate care. Fleas aren't just a nuisance for young puppies—they can cause severe skin irritation, infections, and even anemia if left untreated.

As if that wasn't enough, one of these sweet babies has an umbilical hernia that will require veterinary treatment and likely surgical repair. While many umbilical hernias are treatable, they still require monitoring and often surgery to prevent future complications and ensure the puppy can live a healthy, active life.

We are raising funds to help cover:

🐾 Flea treatment for the puppies
🐾 Wellness exams
🐾 Vaccinations and preventative care
🐾 Umbilical hernia surgery
🐾 Food, supplies, and recovery care

Puppies are arriving into our care, and we're quickly running through supplies. 🐾 A Follow Can Save a Life 🐾

Every day, we see animals that have been abandoned, neglected, forgotten, or simply run out of options.

We see the scared puppy that doesn't understand why it's alone.

The senior dog whose family never came back.

The kitten fighting an infection that could have been prevented.

The pet surrendered because life became too difficult for the people who loved them.

And every single time, we say yes when we can.

But saying yes takes resources.

Right now, we're asking for something that costs absolutely nothing but could make a huge difference for the animals we rescue.

We're working toward 500 followers on our Turning Tails Inc page.

Once we reach that milestone, Facebook allows us to begin earning through Stars and Gifts. That means something as simple as watching a video, sharing a post, leaving a comment, or sending a Star can help provide food, vaccines, medical care, training, and safe shelter for animals that desperately need it.

🚨🚨ADOPTED🚨🚨

At just 8 months old, Romeo has so much love to give. His favorite place isn't on the couch, in a kennel, or chasing toys around the yard. His favorite place is simply wherever his person is.

This sweet boy wants nothing more than to be loved. He'll happily curl up beside you, follow you from room to room, and soak up every bit of affection you're willing to give. He's the kind of dog that forms a deep bond with his family and reminds you every day just how special the human-animal connection can be.

Romeo is neutered, up to date on his vaccinations, and weighs about 32 pounds. We expect him to mature around 35-40 pounds at a healthy weight.

He's wonderful with cats, other dogs, and children. He loves water, enjoys adventures, and has already proven himself to be an excellent travel companion. Storms, fireworks, sirens, and other loud noises don't seem to bother him one bit.

We believe Romeo would thrive with someone looking for a constant companion. He has shown incredible potential as an ESA or therapy companion, though his shy nature in busy new environments means service work isn't the right fit for him. With continued confidence-building and a family committed to helping him grow, Romeo is going to make someone an incredible best friend.

We know his person is out there. We just need to help them find each other.
