Dr J has taken a liking to Lori our Sunday Volunteer. She also had a special bond with 38 Special. Although my favorite thing to do is bath and take care of them having some help after riding is much appreciated.

I do not know it all but will outwork most.

I hate tag lines like - laser focused and tunnel vision but those best describe where I am at. There is no luxury of time. If it is not moving us forward than we are pulling the right line on going right on by.

I learned earlier this week that there were some Standarbred’s about an hour and half from me living great lives so I had to go meet them.

Turns out there is a lot more retired Standarbreds in Florida than I had originally thought. Today I got to meet a group of people that competitively drive here in Florida.

I got to see 4 different farms. The training grounds where they do the obstacle course in a cart!

Confirms my belief that Florida needs a meet up.

Of course I was offered to come back and drive. There are so many opportunities here for retired racehorses to do so many things. I am glad I made the trip and made some new friends
