Meanwhile at the farms...
The goats are just sitting around, waiting for their spa day with The Arkansas Traveling Goat Farrier ! 😂
Some are patiently waiting... Some are judging everyone... And a few are pretending they don't know why they're here. 😆
📸 Caption these two photos!
What do you think these goats are saying while they wait for their hoof trim appointment?

LITTLE ROCK ROUTE IS FULL!
💥PLEASE REMEMBER 💥

I'll send you an ETA when we leave our previous stop.
Please have all goats caught and confined in a small working area before we arrive. Also, please know ahead of time what services you would like performed while we have each goat in hand. For everyone's safety, please make sure there are no active wasp nests or other hazards in the working area.
Our route is heavily booked, and having animals ready helps us stay on schedule and ensure every client receives the time and care they need.
Thank you, and we'll see you soon!

FYI — I'm not posting this to bash anyone. I'm sharing because I think it's important to talk about some of the misinformation and lack of understanding that exists in the goat world. As the saying goes, "Ignorance is bliss."
I'm not against holistic practices. In fact, I think there is a place for both traditional and holistic approaches when used responsibly. What I am against is preventable suffering and sick goats.
1️⃣ I have personally seen what happens when goats are not vaccinated with CDT. Watching an animal suffer from a preventable disease is heartbreaking. In my opinion, the small effort and cost of vaccination is worth the protection it provides.
2️⃣ We live in Arkansas. Barber pole worms are one of the biggest challenges goat owners face. They are not a rare occurrence here—we see them regularly. Ignoring parasites or failing to address a heavy worm burden can have devastating consequences for a herd.
3️⃣ Arkansas weather is known for its extremes. When temperatures swing from cold nights to hot days, respiratory issues can become a concern. Pneumonia is a serious illness that requires prompt attention. While good management and supportive care are important, there are times when veterinary-prescribed antibiotics are necessary to give a goat the best chance of recovery.
Every goat owner has the right to make management decisions for their animals, but those decisions should be based on education, science, experience, and the well-being of the goats—not internet trends.
Healthy goats will always be my priority.
