If that sounds familiar, it is not a bad dog.

Most dogs are not stubborn. They are confused. They do not clearly understand what is expected of them in real life situations.

Training is not about yelling commands over and over. It is about structure, consistency, and teaching a dog how to live in a household and function in public.

I am a local dog trainer serving southern West Virginia. Before I take any dog for board and train, I do a training evaluation first. That way I can tell you honestly if training will help or if your dog does not need it.

I am opening a small number of evaluations for January.
