I told my family I wasn't having any more kids...

I never said anything about all the animals I'm going to pour my love into. ❤️🐾

One of my favorite moments happened after a walk with one of my furry friends. I stopped at my car to put the wagon away before taking her back inside. The second I opened the hatch, she jumped right into my car with the biggest, goofiest grin—as if to say, "Okay! Where are we going next?"

That moment reminded me why I love what I do.

Walks aren't just about burning energy (although they're great for that!). They're also about giving our pups mental stimulation, new smells to explore, confidence, and a chance to simply enjoy being a dog. A tired mind and body often means a happier, calmer companion when you get home.

I take caring for your pets seriously because I know they're family. But I also genuinely enjoy every tail wag, every goofy grin, and every new friendship I make along the way.

An Update from Walks With Kat 🐾

I wanted to let everyone know that I'll be putting Walks With Kat on hold for a little while as I begin a new full-time job this Monday.

Thank you to every client who trusted me with your pets. It's been such a joy getting to know all of your furry family members, and I'm incredibly grateful for your support.

This isn't necessarily goodbye forever—I hope to reopen when life allows. Until then, thank you for being part of this journey. ❤️🐶

That being said- my normal schedule will be 8:30 to 5:00. If perhaps you require a late evening check in or last walk of the day to run off some excess energy.. please reach out! I truly have a heart for this and want to help.

Princess will always hold a special place in my heart as my very first client — the true OG of Walks with Kat. 💕🐾

This girl is strong-willed, full of personality, and keeps me on my toes every single walk. We’ve spent so much time working on manners, especially with jumping and pulling, and while progress takes patience, watching her slowly learn and grow has been incredibly rewarding.

Dogs like Princess remind me that training isn’t about perfection overnight — it’s about consistency, trust, and showing up for them every day. She may test my patience sometimes, but she’s also taught me so much as a walker and handler. I am determined to help my client reach her goals with her pup. So many videos researched in hopes of giving her the training she will benefit from.

Thank you, Princess, for being there from the very beginning. 👑🐶

Sweet Charlie girl has been such a bright spot in my days lately 🩷

Every time I arrive for her walk, she’s already waiting so patiently at the door like she knows our little routine. After our walks, she looks at my car like she’s ready to tag along for the rest of the day 😂

She has been an absolute sweetheart — calm, loving, and so well mannered on every walk. Spending time with pups like Charlie reminds me why I love doing this so much. I truly adore getting to care for these babies and be part of their adventures 🐾

A little about my own fur babies..
This is Dixie and Rory. Dixie is a great pyrenees mixed with mini aussie(1 1/2). Rory is our labrador retriever (roughly 3).

I love them both very dearly. Rory and I have a very deep bond though. Shortly after we took her in as a rescue, she went into heat. Our lovely deer park stray Ghost began stalking her. One day when I went to take her out she got spooked. She yanked her collar off and ran off with Ghost. A couple hours later she came back home.

She turned out pregnant with 9 puppies! Going through labor with her was truly magical. We worked as a team raising those puppies until they went to their furever homes.

As time went on, I could see how a friend for our Rory would benefit her. So I began my search. I drove about 3 hours to pick her up. She's a handful but has made a beautiful addition to the family. Dixie loves to Roo as the kids say.
