Meet Hank! Looking for His Forever Home 🐾❤️
Hi everyone, I’m helping post for Hank’s owners to help find him a wonderful home! Hank is a 5-year-old male Chocolate Lab (~60 lbs) who is a sweet, affectionate indoor dog—equal parts couch potato and fun-loving goofball!
The Basics:
Age: 5 years old
Breed: Chocolate Lab
Weight: ~60 lbs
Health & Care: Up to date on shots. Not neutered or microchipped. Potential sensitivity/allergy to salmon oil.
Diet: Purina Chicken & Rice (2 cups in the morning, 2 cups at night).
House Manners: Completely potty trained and crate trained! Fine being left home during full work days.
Personality & Household Fit:
Dogs & Cats: Great with other dogs! (He currently lives with his dog brother, Howie). No cats, please—he loves to chase them!
Kids & People: Loves older kids (~8+ recommended due to his playful energy) and adores meeting new people (can get a bit excited when visitors arrive!).
Daily Routine: He’s mostly a chill couch potato, but he definitely gets the zoomies! He’ll proudly let you know at the door when he’s ready to come back inside after outdoor time.
Leash Skills: Loves walks! Walks like a dream on a prong collar (tends to pull without one)
Fun Hank Quirks & Favorite Things:
Suckles on blankets to self-soothe and drift off to sleep 😴
Big popcorn fan (he’ll beg for human food if given the chance, even though he's not allowed to have any!).
Watchdog duties: Barks at birds, his reflection, and will let you know when someone knocks or a Ring doorbell chimes.
Tough-toy tester: Needs durable rubber or canvas toys—he makes quick work of plush stuffies!
Hank is such a lovable boy who will make a fantastic companion for the right household.
