🐾📚 KOTA’S KAMP DOGGY DAYCARE YEARBOOK?! 🐶🎓

Okay, hear me out… 😂❤️ What would you guys think about Kota’s Kamp creating an annual YEARBOOK for all of our daycare pups that pet parents could order?!

I’ve been brainstorming ideas, and I think this could be such a cute way to capture all the memories our pups make throughout the year! 🥹🐾

Here’s what I’m thinking:
📸 A year full of memories! Playgroups, Dog of the Month, pictures with the Easter Bunny and Santa, Pawcasso art classes, special events, silly candid moments, and so much more!

🎓 Doggy grades! Every pup would start in First Grade when they join Kota’s Kamp, and they’d move up a grade for every year they attend! So, the longer they’re part of our pack, the higher their grade! 🐶🎒

📚 Pre-orders all year long! Pet parents could pre-order their yearbooks anytime throughout the year. Once the year wraps up, I’d order the appropriate number of copies and distribute them in January of the following year. That way, we could include all the fun memories and events from the ENTIRE year!

🐾 PAWTOGRAPHS! The last page would be dedicated to pawtographs, where all the pups could “sign” each other’s yearbooks with their painted pawprints! How stinkin’ cute would that be?! 😭❤️ (Of course, using pet-safe paint!)

My goal is to make this something fun and memorable that pet parents can look back on for years to come. Imagine having a collection of yearbooks as your pup grows with Kota’s Kamp! 🥹🐾

🐾 Kota’s Kamp Daycare Hours Update! 🐾

We’re excited to share an update to our daycare hours! 🎉

When Kota’s Kamp opens, our daycare will be open Monday–Friday from 7:00 AM–6:00 PM.

🕖 Drop-Off Window: 7:00–8:00 AM
🕕 Pick-Up Window: 5:00–6:00 PM

We know these drop-off and pick-up windows are a little narrow, and we truly apologize if they aren’t as convenient as you may have hoped. ❤️ However, as we get started, there is only so much we can safely take on with a smaller team.

Our #1 priority will always be the safety, supervision, and well-being of every dog in our care. Limiting arrival and departure times allows our team to stay focused on the dogs rather than constantly having to pause play, supervision, or activities to accommodate staggered drop-offs and pickups.

As Kota’s Kamp grows and we build a larger team, our goal is to expand these windows and provide more flexibility and convenience for our customers. This is just where we’re starting—not where we plan to stay!

We appreciate your patience, understanding, and support as we build something really special. We’re working hard behind the scenes and are SO excited to share more news with you soon! 👀🐶💙

In the meantime, if you’d like to get ahead of the game, you can create an account through our booking software! This will allow you to get your information and your pets’ information entered and up to date before we officially open.

🎉🐾 Happy 2nd Gotcha Day, Elton John! 🐾🎉

Two years ago, Elton John found his way into his family’s heart—and what a lucky family he has! 💙🐶

Elton is such a sweet, playful boy with the biggest personality. We’ve loved getting to know him and watching him have the best time with his sister, Faith. They are truly the perfect duo and keep each other entertained all day long! 🥰

Elton, we hope your 2nd Gotcha Day is filled with all your favorite things: lots of playtime, plenty of treats, endless love, and maybe a little sibling mischief. 😂🎾🦴

🐾 Happy National Dog Day from Kota’s Kamp! 🐾

Today is all about celebrating dogs of ALL breeds, sizes, ages, and backgrounds — and honoring the incredible working and service dogs who dedicate their lives to helping others. ❤️

Dogs are truly one of life’s greatest gifts. Their unconditional love, loyalty, companionship, and ability to make even our hardest days a little brighter is something we could never repay. Honestly, we don’t deserve the amount of love they give us. 🥹🐶

They deserve to be acknowledged, appreciated, and celebrated every single day.

And if you’ve been considering welcoming a furry friend into your family, take this as your sign. 🐾❤️ Visit your local animal shelter and consider giving a dog a second chance at the life they deserve. There are so many incredible dogs waiting for someone to choose them.

Today, we want to know: How are you celebrating your loyal companion? 🐕🎉

Tatze is putting her brain AND her paws to work tonight with a SHRED BOX! 📦🐶💥

So… what exactly is a shred box? 👀

A shred box is a simple enrichment activity that makes your dog work for what’s inside! 🧠🐾 Instead of simply handing them a treat, you give them a box filled with treats or food and let them use their nose, paws, and problem-solving skills to shred their way through and find the goodies inside. 😋

And the best part? You don’t need anything fancy! You can make one with:
📦 An old/recycled cardboard box
🧻 Napkins or soft paper that won’t cut them
🦴 Your dog’s favorite treats or kibble

Simply put the treats inside, add some napkins or soft paper for them to dig through, and mix everything up really well so the treats aren’t all hidden in one place! This makes your dog search through the entire box instead of finding everything in one spot. 🐶👃

Then tape the entire box closed!

👉 Regular tape = easier challenge
👉 Packing tape = more challenging

It’s more than just a fun activity—it’s mental stimulation! 🧠✨ Using their brain and senses can help tire dogs out in a GOOD way while keeping them occupied and helping ease anxiety, stress, and boredom.

⚠️ Always supervise your dog during this activity and make sure they are not eating any pieces of napkin, paper, or cardboard. The goal is to shred and search for the treats—not eat the box! 😂📦

And clearly, Tatze is taking her job VERY seriously. 😂❤️📦

Enrichment doesn’t have to be expensive or complicated. Sometimes, the best activities are made from things you already have at home! 🐾

Double digits look absolutely gorgeous on you! We hope today is filled with all of your favorite things—extra treats, belly rubs, toys, naps, adventures, and endless love.

Most importantly, we hope your hoomans remember that today they are your personal servants. 😌👑 Every request should be granted immediately, every snack should be approved, and every cuddle should happen on demand. It’s your world today—they’re just living in it!
