🐾 HOW DOES MOBILE GROOMING WORK? 🐾
We get this question all the time, so I wanted to walk you through exactly what to expect when you book with The Mobile Pet Parlor! 🚐🐶✂️
1️⃣ BOOK YOUR APPOINTMENT
You can reach out to us through Facebook, by phone, or through our website to get your pup scheduled. We’ll get the information we need about your dog and what services they need so we can plan the appointment properly.
2️⃣ YOU’LL RECEIVE AN ARRIVAL WINDOW
This is an important one! ❤️
Our website automatically gives you an arrival window that is 30 minutes before and 30 minutes after your scheduled appointment time.
For example, if your appointment is scheduled for 10:00 AM, your arrival window is 9:30–10:30 AM.
This does NOT mean your appointment is going to take an extra hour. It is simply the window we have to arrive at your home.
Think of it the same way you would when you have a contractor, electrician, plumber, cable company, or other service company coming to your house. They typically give you a window of time rather than promising they will pull into your driveway at one exact minute.
Mobile grooming works the same way because we are traveling from home to home all day. 🚐
3️⃣ WE ARRIVE AT YOUR HOME
When we arrive, we park the grooming bus in your driveway or an appropriate location and get everything ready for your pup.
Because we’re mobile, we bring the grooming salon right to you! No loading your dog into the car, driving somewhere, waiting around, and then making another trip back to pick them up. ❤️
4️⃣ YOUR PUP COMES INTO THE BUS
Once we’re ready, your pup comes into the Mobile Pet Parlor for their appointment.
Inside the bus we have everything we need to provide their grooming service — bathing, drying, brushing, haircutting, nail trims, and all the other little details that go into making your pup feel fresh and fabulous. 🛁✨
5️⃣ WE GROOM YOUR PUP ONE-ON-ONE
One of the biggest benefits of mobile grooming is that your dog isn’t sitting in a salon all day waiting their turn.
We come to you, your pup gets their grooming appointment, and when they’re finished, they’re ready to go home! 🐶❤️
6️⃣ YOUR PUP IS READY TO GO!
Once grooming is complete, we’ll bring your freshly groomed pup back to you, go over anything you may need to know, and you’re all done!
No waiting room.
No multiple dogs barking around them.
No spending half your day driving back and forth.
Just convenient, personalized grooming right in your driveway. 🚐🐾
❤️ A LITTLE REMINDER ABOUT OUR ARRIVAL TIMES
We know everyone has busy schedules, and we completely understand that waiting for someone to arrive can be frustrating.
That’s why we want our clients to know the appointment time shown on our website is not an exact “we will pull into your driveway at this exact minute” time.
Our system intentionally provides a 30-minute arrival window before and 30 minutes after the scheduled time so we have some flexibility while traveling between appointments.
Traffic, weather, a dog taking a little longer than expected, an especially matted coat, a nervous pup who needs extra patience — all of these things can affect the schedule throughout the day.
We would much rather take the time each dog needs and provide them with a safe, quality grooming experience than rush through an appointment just because we’re trying to hit an exact minute on the clock. ❤️
That’s the beauty — and the reality — of mobile grooming!
We’re bringing the salon to YOU, and just like any service that comes to your home, there is a little bit of flexibility built into the schedule. 🚐🐾
