Davis Pet Advocacy and Wellness Clinic Davis PAW is a nonprofit volunteer run veterinary clinic that serves individuals experiencing homele Caring, Educating, Healing.

Since 1992, Mercer Veterinary Clinic has provided free veterinary care to the pets of individuals experiencing homelessness and housing insecurity in Sacramento and Yolo counties. In 2020 Davis Pet Advocacy and Wellness, now a satellite clinic of Mercer Veterinary Clinic was started to provide the same care to the community in Davis. The clinic is held on the first Saturday of each month at the Da

vis Respite Center located at 530 L St., Davis CA 95616. Please sign up for a clinic appointment either by reaching out to us by phone (530-746-8262) or email ([email protected]). Please note that the inbox of this page is not monitored. As we are a non-profit run by volunteer veterinarians, veterinary students, and vet aides, we rely on the kindness of others through donations to help these animals. At Mercer Veterinary Clinic, we serve pets belonging to those who are unhoused or are struggling with housing insecurity. Pets can be a source of comfort and even safety to our clients, and our mission is to provide veterinary care to our furry friends. The human-animal bond is sacred, and we believe that nobody should have to choose between eating dinner or ensuring their pet has the proper medical care. 
Giving Tuesday, December 2nd this year, is an opportunity for people to donate towards their cause of choice and contribute towards positive change in the community. Your generosity will help us continue to provide valuable services to pets, including vaccinations, medications, pet food, and dental care. 
We appreciate the support of the community immensely, whether it is donating time, funding, or spreading our message. Thank you for being a part of our mission.
