Because Lainey’s home is surrounded by hunting property, her owners wanted to make sure unexpected gunfire doesn’t cause her to panic or take off. As you can see… she did PHENOMENAL! 👏🏼👏🏼

One of our favorite parts of the Board & Train process is watching everything a pup learned during their stay successfully transfer over to their owners. Because the training doesn’t stop when they go home — making sure owners feel confident, comfortable, and prepared is what it’s all about! 💪🐾

This handsome little dude is officially AVAILABLE and will be ready for his forever home September 4th after completing his Puppy Board & Train at AmericanK9! 🎓🐶

Brooks is the total package. ❤️ He has an amazing temperament…. fun, easygoing, social, and an absolute little lovebug. He LOVES people, other dogs, and even cats! Bonus: Brooks is NON-SHEDDING! 🙌

He’s doing incredibly well with:
🐾 Housebreaking
🐾 Crate training
🐾 Foundation obedience
🐾 Leash manners & socialization

Brooks has also been professionally groomed by Iris & Co Grooming Studio and is up to date on his vaccines by our friends at Four Legs Animal Hospital for his first year. He’ll head home with a fantastic training foundation already in place!

What does a go-home lesson look like, you ask? 🐾🎓

First of all… can we talk about that first time seeing each other in a few weeks reaction?! 🥹😭 That excitement, that hug, and that pure love might just be some of the most meaningful moments we get to witness in this business. ❤️

Once the greetings, kisses, and tail wags are out of the way, it’s time to get down to business! 💪 Our trainers spend time teaching our paw-rents everything they need to know about what their pup learned during their Board & Train — because the training doesn’t stop when they go home!

Check out Candy and her paw-rent putting in the work! 👏 It looks like they’re getting it down, with Trainer Nellie leading the way and making sure they have the knowledge and confidence to keep Candy’s training going strong at home. 🐶🏡

The reunion is pretty special… but watching everything come together during that go-home lesson is even better! 💛
