It's been a great week for the foster kennel. I transported sweet Maya up to her new ABMR foster home and Pip found a new home with a great family. I will miss them both, but it is hard to be sad when they find their new family.

I am fostering this girl for the local shelter and she needs a forever home. She is a sweet girl. She is 4 yrs old, spayed and vaccinated, heartworm negative and dewormed. I think she would be best as an only dog, or at least no other females. She seems calm for a Dutchie. Ours is a high kill shelter...its inevitable here...so if I can no longer foster her and return her, she won't last long. I don't intend to take her back unless days stretch into months, but I can't keep her either because I already have quite a gang of working dogs. 6 of my own, and now 4 fosters. I need a short term foster for this lil baby. She is only 12 lbs. Tomorrow I will be bringing in another foster from the shelter... A Dutchie or Malinois...and my foster Maya isnt quite ready to go to her ABMR foster home for about a week. She is very loving and I don't want her to get ignored in the busyness.
