It’s another special day for our team today—happy birthday, Dr. Nayee! 🎉🐾

Our founder and CEO, Dr. Nayee started Vetbulance in the hopes of making veterinary medicine more accessible and inclusive. Throughout her career, her work has celebrated intersectionality for both veterinary professionals and pet caretakers, and she has sought to create environments that unambiguously welcome everyone. She goes above and beyond to make sure the people who come to us feel heard, and that every patient is given the best care possible. Her warmth, care, and dedication are at the heart of our practice.

Vetbulance will have its normal urgent care hours this Saturday, October 3 from 12:30–6:30pm at My Kids Have Paws. If something is going on with your pet, come see us—Dr. Nayee will be there to provide the care it needs, and you can wish her a happy birthday too!

Fall is officially here! 🍂

Changing seasons can bring out different wildlife. When going on walks with your pet, keep an eye out for fall plants like mushrooms and acorns that can be toxic if ingested. It's also a good time to make sure your pet is up to date on flea and tick prevention, since fleas stay active during Georgia’s mild fall weather.

If your pet needs care this weekend, we'll have our regular urgent care clinic at Kids Have Paws this Saturday, September 26th from 12:30–6pm. Walk-ins welcome, and we recommend calling ahead to confirm availability before making the trip.

On this International Day of Peace, we call for peace and protection of humans, animals, and the environment in Gaza, Lebanon, Sudan, Congo, Haiti, and all communities facing public health crises internationally and nationally. Animal welfare should be protected, animal suffering should be prevented, and public health should be promoted. We strongly believe that all pets and their people deserve access to safe and accessible care.
