Ohh, my gosh way to go.This is so amazing.

Bear was lost more than 700 miles from home 💔

Somehow, this big fluffy sweetheart ended up in Chatsworth after being picked up near his home in Texas by a truck driver.

Alone, scared and far from the people he loved, Bear was spotted standing in the middle of the road.

The next morning, Murray County Animal Control got the call ❤️

And when they scanned his microchip, they found a heartbroken owner on the other end of the phone.

He had been desperately searching for Bear, but there was one problem: he had no way to get to Georgia.

Thinking he had run out of options, he believed he might have to surrender him for good.

But the team at Murray County Animal Control wasn’t about to let this story end like that!!

So Tabitha stepped up, loaded Bear into the car and drove him all the way back to Texas herself.

Hundreds of miles later, Bear was finally back where he belonged... wrapped in the arms of the person who never stopped loving him.

You can see it in the picture. The relief. The love. The way Bear melts right back into his human like no time passed at all.

In a world that can feel heavy sometimes, this is the kind of story I think we all needed today. ❤️🐾

***UPDATE*** Rescue commitment FOUND

🚨 URGENT RESCUE PARTNERS NEEDED 🚨
We desperately need help. This is an urgent hoarding case involving 26 Chihuahua mixes, and we cannot do this without our rescue community stepping up.
This is good old-fashioned rescue — we know very little at this time other than these dogs are in danger and need out ASAP.
The ammonia smell is overwhelming, creating a serious health and safety risk for these dogs.

They need help NOW.

🐾 26 total dogs
🐾 Chihuahua mixes
🐾 2 mama dogs actively nursing puppies
🐾 Located in North Georgia / Tennessee area

We are urgently seeking rescue partners who can step up and take dogs. Even taking one life makes a difference.

• A single dog

• A nursing mama + babies
• Any amount at all

Spay abort is never an easy conversation — but right now, shelters, rescues, and communities are facing a heartbreaking population crisis.

Healthy dogs are being euthanized every day because there simply are not enough homes, fosters, or resources. Preventing unwanted litters before birth is one of the most humane ways we can reduce suffering long-term.

If a dog is pregnant but NOT in labor, a licensed veterinarian can safely perform a spay abort procedure. This is considered standard veterinary practice and is often safer for the mother than carrying and delivering an unplanned litter — especially in overcrowded communities.

This is not about judgment.
It’s about prevention, compassion, and protecting dogs from future neglect, abandonment, and homelessness.

We know cost can be a barrier, and we do not want finances to stand in the way of doing the responsible thing. Assistance may be available — reach out to us and we will help cover costs whenever possible.

Every litter prevented means:
• fewer dogs suffering in shelters
• fewer puppies abandoned or euthanized
• more resources for the dogs already here needing homes

Together, we can reduce suffering before it starts.

Okay, here’s the deal everyone.
Rescues CANNOT survive without their communities getting involved.

Sharing, caring, donating, fostering, transporting, etc.

We have four HEALTHY FULLY VETTED PUPS that WILL LIKELY DIE on Friday. The kind people taking care of them currently are dealing with a family member on hospice. They cannot keep these pups longer than Friday. We all know what happens to owner surrenders when they are turned into a municipal shelter.
Our Rescue House foster homes are full and no new fosters have stepped up 😔

If you are a rescue partner willing to take one or two of these beautiful babies, please reach out and we will do everything to make it happen.

Gotcha 🎉 Our precious Ollie has finally left the building. Ollie is being adopted into a wonderful family who previously adopted Frankie 🥹
Ollie completed training at the Walker Kennel Club faith heels ALL training program 💪 He us such a good boy. He built relationships in there that will now last a lifetime. We are so happy for him and we adore his amazing family. It doesn't get better than this sweet boy you hit the jackpot❤️

This is a very special adoption. Not only did our AMAZING adopters travel a very long way to adopt Mia and Nitro. This is actually there second time doing so. This is Lucy's family. Lucy was with them, just not for pick up. We got to see her last month 🥹
Lucy Nitro and Mia will all be spoiled rotten by the most wonderful pawrents 🐾 We are truly grateful for the relationships we have built with such amazing humans ❤️ We love yall and we will see you next time😉
