Meet Nessy 💛
Nessy is a 3-year-old Miniature Schnauzer / Dachshund mix who arrived to us with one clear mission in life: to narrate absolutely everything she experiences… loudly… and with strong opinions.
As a puppy, she was given away to an elderly home where she didn’t get much exposure to the outside world or any real socialization. So when she came to us, she looked around and basically said, “This is unacceptable,” and has been providing commentary ever since. That’s how she earned the nickname “Messy Nessy.”
Nessy is a full-time loud mouth. She has thoughts on the weather, your shoes, your tone, your life choices, and probably things you haven’t even done yet. She’s not being rude—she’s just very committed to keeping everyone informed.
But here’s the twist… once she decides you’re safe and she can trust you, she transforms. All that chaos turns into the funniest, tiniest little gremlin companion you didn’t know you needed. She becomes goofy, affectionate in her own weird way, and absolutely entertaining in a way that should probably come with a warning label.
Nessy will need a very special adopter—someone who appreciates a dog with a strong personality, a big voice, and a slower build to trust. She is not a “figure it out as you go” kind of dog. She’s a “earn it, laugh through it, and eventually get obsessed with her” kind of dog.
Nessy is heartworm negative, current on preventions and vaccinations, spayed, microchipped, and comes with a geo tag.
