This coyote has been watching our training sessions for the last few weeks. She usually keeps her distance, but not today.

Having a balanced and well trained dog creates a relaxed atmosphere. The dog is not on an obedience “down” or “leave it”. He simply has a purpose and better things to do with his people.

Raider and Huya are intense in their play. Raider and Wumi can be toy aggressive with other dogs. Knowing this, we spent some time teaching them how to act in a civilized manner when toys are around. Before a dog can participate in this type of group play. They have to understand competition is allowed as long as it does not lead to aggression. Of course all this based on concept and behaviors learned in structured play.

Last time these two were in the water together, there was a lot of growling and snapping🤣. So we worked on their doggy etiquette on land, looks like they’ve learned to carry it over to pool time 😎
