Let’s talk about Nail Health. This baby couldn’t be groomed safely as I had serious concerns about making his feet worse if I took clippers over them to remove the mats (the paw pads were even worse) that they would end up even more damaged due to the already sensitive inflamed dry skin. This dog also has a blood problem he’s on meds for so risking nicking him was out of the question as well. His feet were in this condition mostly due to the fact his nails were so overgrown his paws were trying to protect themselves which lead to the skin condition. In this event I recommended holding off on the groom in order for the skin to heal and nails to recede. I will be seeing him every two weeks until his paws heal enough for a full groom. He already has his appointment scheduled 🔥 Can’t wait to get this baby feeling better 💝❤️‍🩹(Absolutely NO negative comments towards owner. They are long time clients and lost track of time. What is important is the steps they are taking to get him on the right track) #

Rosie was my very first House-Call Experience last week and it definitely came with learning curves. Oodlepaloodles will now be a House-Call Service until money is raised for a New Van. It will honestly take around 1-2 years for Oodlepaloodles to be fully Mobile in a contained vehicle once again. Until that point I choose to adapt and continue working. Because of this choice I have lost over half of my clients and need to rebuild again. I will be expanding my service areas into Buckhead, Woodstock, and parts of Metro Atlanta. On June 13th there will be a Menu and Price change. This menu will be the same until I get a New Van to reflect average prices in Georgia and across the United States. My current pricing system unfortunately pays me below minimum wage when I provide more care, time, and skill then the majority of others charging more than me. My skill and knowledge as a Canine Esthetician puts me above the average groomer and I should be charging accordingly. I always do my best to be transparent about my prices and this is it. I can't live if I'm not being paid enough and I really can't work or run a business like that either. I hope everyone understands and respects these changes. Attention! ✨ Oodlepaloodles will be hosting a Raffle in which all Ticket Sales will go towards fund for the down payment on my New Van. My bus is no longer able to be on the road due to continuing engine issues and I can no longer afford to continue paying for temporary repairs. Emergency Announcement Update: Oodlepaloodles is now offering two services TEMPORARILY until the funds are raised for a New Van

-House Call Grooming: I will bring my supplies and groom on your property. I can use a tub/shower/sink/hose(only on warm sunny days) or my portable tub to Bath them and Groom them on any table surface, floor, or in my portable tub (portable tables are coming soon next month). I can set up anywhere: outside, patio, garage, bathroom, living room, office, or laundry room. Also, I would have to plug into an outlet either inside or outside to use my blow dryer which means having access to at least one uncrowded outlet. This method of grooming will allow me to take even bigger breeds during the Summer because I can Bath them outside with the hose (I recommend drying and if getting Groomed to be inside afterwards out of the heat), I can set up my pop up canopy for some shade and it'll be a great Bath time.

-Bring them to my Bus: Temporarily I'm offering if you want your dog in a more controlled and closed environment you can bring them to me and I will Bath/Groom them in the comfort of my Bus. Unfortunately my Bus is permanently parked. The primary issues had to do with the engine so the inside is still perfectly safe for me to continue doing dogs in. I will call you roughly 30 minutes ahead of pick up time, and ask you please arrive within 10 minutes of pickup timeframe to avoid delays on other appointments.

-"Dirty Oodle" Goat Milk Dog Soap Bar: Part of my first line of "Handmade Oodle Creations". I will be releasing my very own Natural Goat Milk Dog Soap Bar. "Dirty Oodle" Goat milk Dog Soap Bar is meant to be the perfect thing to reach for during those surprise "uh-oh" moments we all have with our dogs. With the "Dirty Oodle" Bar, surprise Bath times are meant to be a breeze for a quick and efficient clean up on your pup. I get asked all the time if I sell any soaps for a quick, in between clean up that happens outside of our regular scheduled appointments. The "Dirty Oodle" Goat Milk Soap Bar will be the perfect thing to reach for 💖 Majority of funds will go to New Van Fund.

-Education: Starting in July I will be offering two types of Educational Classes and Seminars. One will be for Pet Professionals and the other for Pet Parents. These Classes will be held in person (up to 10 depending on class) and online using Zoom Calls. Majority of funds will go to New Van Fund.
Starting in 2027 I will begin offering a official Bather Certification Course which will teach you everything you need to know to be a Bather. The course will include a Workbook made by me (there will be Educational Material, Short Reading Passages, Fill In The Blank, Charts, Matching, Short Answers, Multiple Choice Questions, and such to make this as in-depth as possible. Most Bathers become Groomers in their career, and a Bath is the foundation of any Groom), a Bather Kit (upon completion of course), In-Person Training and Teaching, Hands-On Teaching, and Required Hands-On Hours for Certification. More information will be released closer to launch.

Pricing: Oodlepaloodles is making changes in pricing to make it easier to understand and also to price more to my worth and needs. Oodlepaloodles is honestly ~$40 under the National Average on price, including other Mobile and House Call Groomers in the area. I have been making slow changes to increase prices and want to be very transparent about it. A New Van honestly means high payments and I need to be able to account paying for myself too to provide for my family. So so many of you have told me I'm not charging enough for my services, and with this recent situation of my bus going down and now being approved for a New Van, Ive made the hard decision to raise my prices and change how they are set up. I also have to keep in mind I am a Certified Canine Esthetician, I use different techniques and products then a regular Groomer that takes more time, and money on my part to ensure your dog is being taken care of under those standards which should reflect in my pricing. I am highly considering making my Travel Fees part of the overall cost other than charging it separately for less confusion on pricing. I will give an update when prices will change to reflect Oodlepaloodles current and near future. Thank you.

Please bare with me as my website is under maintenance. As I am doing the swap to a paper booking system I am making my website as detailed as possible. I'm adding new sections, services, discounts, coupons, educational classes, grooming and bathing seminars, pet parent services, a fundraiser, and I will even be adding my very first line of ✨Oodle Handmade Creations✨ to my list of services very soon. I am the only person working on all of this so please be patient with me and know great things are coming. I hope these things will provide an easier and nostalgic time for us all.

All pre-scheduled appointments will be transferred over to the paper system no further action is required. All Waivers will have a Master Copy that will require One Signature and will be kept with your profile. I will provide a Master Copy between this or the next appointment for you to sign.

My New Processing System takes Tap To Pay and Chip Payments. I can also send Invoices for convenience. Credit Cards have a 3% Card Fee while Debit Cards and Cash have No Fee.

This is my dream and without a new vehicle I can't keep servicing all of you wonderful people and loving dogs in my care. Many of you know the never ending challenges I face with my bus and they are unfortunately getting closer and closer together. With more and more of y'all getting on board with me I need something reliable as I'm running out of room to reschedule quickly and it's becoming more frequent for it to happen.
