Fosters are THE MOST IMPORTANT ROLE in rescue. THIS heroic foster has stepped up to care for BOTH our most complex medical cases, Cameron & Amara! Foster report after this morning's "rounds":
----------------------------------------------------
🤎🐾 Amara Pupdate 🤎🐾
Medically, Amara is healing wonderfully 💖. Her heart surgery incision looks great, but we're keeping the top on until it stops itching. Her tail looks as good as any severed tail would look 😬. We're starting hydrotherapy, which is as "fun" as it sounds, for five minutes, twice a day, and then a cream regimen. Lots of fun is being had in Forney. Loads, even 🫩🤎🐾.
Socially, Amara is a Nosey Nelly!!! She has been studying Cameron and reporting all the things.

UPDATE: Cameron has an Amazon wishlist: https://www.amazon.com/hz/wishlist/ls/3HCSXKMY7Z7Q3

Cameron, the sweetest 1 yo boy anywhere that was pulled from DAS with the very obvious broken leg has had surgery. BUT, in the course of prepping for surgery, the ortho vet discovered that Cameron's OTHER leg was in even worse shape than the 1st with a hyperextension injury. The 2nd orthopedic surgery will happen once he has been rehabilitated from current surgery. This comes at a cost of an ADDITIONAL $5,000 - $6,000! Any additional donations you can provide will be appreciated.
