Oh Bella! This little terrorist is one of only 2 pups ever to be raised here that were both small enough and smart enough to find a way out of the fenced play yard. That is 2 inch fencing and this girl is 10 wks old. I cant believe she is still small enough to fit through. The other pup who did this was our very own Lady May who was a tiny pup and is only 11lbs fully grown. Lady is also the only dog I've ever had that can jump over and completely clear that 4ft fence!
Needless to say, I spent most of the day running wire mesh along the fence in the play yards so we can keep Bella, the escape artist, inside the fence during play time!

Yesterday these pups turned 2 yrs old and their families were so kind to send me pictures and updates on them. They are each loved and living a great life. I remember how fun this litter was to raise and I just cant believe they are already 2 yrs old!

These 3 pups are staying with me to complete their puppy kindergarten training. They will be going home to their families next weekend once they have mastered....

*sitting politely for attention instead of jumping on people
Cinnamon is now named Layni
Cowboy is now Zeus
Bella keeps her name bc they picked it out at birth!

After meeting him, they decided that Banjo is more of a Joey so that will be his new name. He is home in Ft Worth now and will have time to adjust to his new life. Then he will be trained and eventually do therapy work with abused children. I knew he was destined for something wonderful. ✨️
He is already loving his new dog brother and bonding with his family. ❤️

This is my last evening walk with Banjo whose new name is Oliver. He will be going home to his new family tomorrow. He is from Matildas last litter. He has been reserved for some time but due to the unexpected loss of a loved one, they were not able to pick him up until now. I pray he will be a comfort to his family during this time. He is such a good boy and im excited for his future!

Today's puppy curriculum focused on car rides and crate naps. They were fantastic with both! Some of our puppy families informed me that they plan to do a lot of traveling with their puppy. I want to prepare my pups for a smooth transition in their new home so we will be doing a lot of short car rides to get them acclimated to the movement and sounds so they can be comfortable on longer trips later on.
