Install a ring camera a floor level to know when your cat is home. Yes, I know it’s safer for your cat to stay indoors. And, I also have an indoor kitty. Tessa was feral turned house cat and goes out after sunrise and comes and goes all day and in the house fie the night 7-8ish.

Yes, they really do learn!

Tessa came onto the porch, stood on her back legs at the window and called for me. When that didn’t work, she went straight to her camera and let me know she was ready to come inside.

A few seconds late, the app alerted me and I saw her on the camera, and went downstairs and opened the door….and in she ran.

That’s the beauty of a simple cat camera. You learn their routine - and they learn how to find you.
