WOW … we went to our PO Box to grab the mail and were VERY surprised, shocked, and pretty darn excited to find several packages sitting there!
We opened them up and OH MY GOODNESS! 🤠 All of these goodies were donated in honor of North Texas Giving Day by Robert Bova — better known around here as Cowboy Bob!
And y’all… this stuff is going to last us a LONG time! Elastikon, Vet Wrap, Desitin for flies (I swear, this stuff WORKS!), fly bags, wound care, sprays… and the list goes on!
But here’s the thing about Cowboy Bob… he doesn’t just talk about helping difficult animals. He actually does it. He drives FOUR HOURS to come work with our animals — on his own dime — and has worked with our donkeys to help them learn that being haltered, touched, handled and having their feet done doesn’t have to be the end of the world. 😂 And let me tell you… that is a BIG deal around here!
He has genuinely changed the lives of our animals, but he’s helped us humans a whole lot too. Having someone who knows what he’s doing and can help us work through the difficult ones gives us a lot more confidence — and a whole lot less worry. And somehow, after all that, he still manages to keep us laughing. He may be serious about his animals, but he’s definitely our resident comedian when it comes to the humans! 😂
Cowboy Bob is one of those people who walks the walk. He gives his time, his knowledge, his patience and now, apparently, a whole bunch of supplies too! 😂 We are incredibly grateful to call him a friend and to have him in our corner.
So please help us give Cowboy Bob a HUGE THANK YOU for everything he does for our animals and for us. If you don’t know him yet, go check out his page — you’ll learn something, you’ll probably laugh, and you’ll understand why we’re so dang grateful to have him in our lives. ❤️🤠
Thank you, Cowboy Bob. Seriously. We appreciate you more than you know!
